Studio Use Guidelines

General Rules

• Studio Use – The person booking must be present. Bookings and membership hours cannot be transferred to others.

• Doors & Hallways – Keep studio doors closed during your session. Hallways must remain clear.

• Client Arrival – Clients must contact the renter directly for building access. Do not prop open the front door unattended.

• Substances – No drugs or smoking allowed. Any violation will result in immediate termination with no refund.

• Children - All children must be supervised at all times.

• No Pets – Pets are not allowed in the building or studio under any circumstances. Violation will result in immediate termination of the session with no refund.

• Volume – Keep music at a respectful level. If neighbors complain, the session will be terminated with no refund.

• Location Use – Shooting is not permitted outside the studio (hallways, staircases). Violations result in immediate termination with no refund.

• Subleasing – Renters may not sublease the studio to third parties.

• Decor & Setup – No fireworks or sparklers. No nails, staples, or tacks. Use painter’s tape only. Candles must be in proper holders. Glitter is not permitted.

• Cleanup – The floor must be swept or vacuumed after your session. Trash must be taken out.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

• All bookings are final. For special cancellation circumstances, email hi@the701studios.com.

• You may reschedule up to 5 days before your reservation through the confirmation email link.

Rental Terms

• Your rental includes setup and teardown. Be sure to leave the space clean and reset by the end of your session.

• If you go past your booked time and delay the next renter, you’ll be charged an additional hour automatically to the payment method on file. Even if no one is impacted, 10+ extra minutes will still incur a full hour fee.

• A $100 cleaning fee applies if extra cleaning is required (glitter, spills, etc.).

• Any damages (scratches, stains, broken furniture) are the renter’s responsibility. Fees for repairs/replacements will be billed and must be paid within 2 business days.

• Trash must be in the bins; larger trash must go to the outdoor dumpster.

Security & Privacy

• Our studios are private but under 24/7 security monitoring for safety. Footage is never shared—only used for internal risk management.

• Tampering with security equipment may result in legal action.

Liability

• Use of the studio is at your own risk. By booking, you accept full responsibility for everyone in your party.

• You waive the right to legal action for incidents, losses, or accidents during your session.

• Renters are accountable for any legal or safety issues involving their clients or crew on or around studio premises.

• Safety and conduct are the renter’s responsibility at all times.
